Hampton Power Systems offers a wide range of customer service including:

• On and off site warranty and non warranty repair of drives and UPS. Hampton Power has repair capabilities down to board level repair.
• Startup supervision. Our service professionals not only have factory trained drive credentials but also have specific industry experience
• ASD cable resonant frequency analysis. This is often needed on deep well submersible pump applications. Hampton Power has the specialized equipment and specifically trained personnel to perform these studies.
• Application feasibility studies. Hampton Power has the resources, experience and application tools needed to pre engineer an application. Hampton Power can help a customer define the performance expectations after installation of drives on a specific piece of equipment or system.
• Customer service training. Courses can be provided to train electricians on how to do first line repair of drives. Custom courses can also be provided for application training.
• Energy saving and power management analysis. Hampton Power can visit a site and make recommendations on how power consumption and / or demand charges can be reduced.
• Retrofits. Hampton Power can engineer the conversion of DC drives, WRIM, ECC, Hydraulic, fluid coupling and air clutches to either AC Drives or modern DC drives.
• Crane and Hoist upgrades and conversions. ABB drives have available firmware specifically engineered for crane and hoist applications. The firmware macro includes safety and operational features required for optimal crane performance.
• Power quality studies. Hampton Power can perform site studies to analyze power quality issues such as power factor, voltage excursions and harmonics and then provide solutions to mitigate identified problems.
• Corrective filter systems. Hampton Power can provide harmonic mitigation solutions as well as output filters for drives.
• Preventative maintenance programs. Very often a customer is focused on producing products - that is their business. Hampton Power can provide and execute a site preventative maintenance program for drives and UPS.
• Plant shutdown assistance. It is sometimes difficult to acquire all of the skilled manpower required to complete a plant wide shutdown schedule in the allotted time frame. Hampton Power can provide people with industry specific work or managerial experience to assist.
• Project management. Hampton Power can provide experienced project managers to supervise a project.
• Turn key installations. Hampton Power can provide solutions from supply of a simple component through to providing everything needed from initial design to project management, supply of all components, installation and final commissioning.
